• Make a pencil mark every 1 inch along the centered pencil line of each 24” piece.
  • Drill holes 1 inch apart using the pencil marks as a guide.  
       (We placed a hole every 1 inch for the Rat Terriers.)
  • Place tape on the drill bit to mark where to stop drilling.
  • Drill ½ to ¾ depth of hardwood.
  • Do not drill through the wood.
