STEP 3 - STACKER PEGS
My pegs were made from a  walnut
tree limb! After a storm blew down the
trees in our yard, we sawed it for
firewood and I saved some straight
limbs.

Walnut is very hard wood. While
building the stacker prototype, I
elected to recycle parts of the tree.

SUBSTITUTIONS:
Use something structurally strong like:
  • Landscape timber
  • 2” x 2” x 5+” wood block
  • 4” x 4” x 5+” wood block
  • PVC pipe with end caps

Remember you’ll only need (4) pieces
cut that are 2”x2” or 4”x4” at 5+” height.
Cut a minimum of 5 inches in height.
  • Set peg inside the frame.
  • Rest pipe on frame and mark where pipe will go through center of peg.
